ABOUT ME
Hello and thank-you for visiting my website today.
My name is Philip Gaw and I have been playing the flute for over 35 years and teaching for the last 25.
As well as teaching privately I also teach for the E.A. Music service (woodwind) and currently resident in Our lady and St Patrick's College Knock.
I teach all levels from beginner to Diploma standard in Flute, also up to grade 5 in all of the other woodwind instruments.
I am based in Newtownards Co.Down and provide lessons in my own home or if preferred in the pupils home.
As per standard I hold an enhanced disclosure certificate in accordance with child protection requirements, a copy is available on request at any time.

Lessons for complete beginners, get off to the best possible start.
Enjoy ensemble playing with others and learn faster.
Coming back to the flute after a break and want to refresh things with a few lessons.
Have your playing assessed and make sure you don't develop bad habits.
Work through the graded system with ABRSM or Trinity College exams.
But most importantly enjoy your flute playing and make music at a level you are comfortable with.
